The German Rubber Conference DKT 2022

The exhibition offered many opportunities to network and to get profound insights into the current state of this dynamic industry and to get informed about latest developments in materials and processing technologies Prof. Dr. Andreas Limper, managing director of the DKG, emphasized that “In Nuremberg, it became clear that conferences and trade fairs as meeting places will remain central business, science and innovation drivers in the future with refreshing and revitalizing networks through personal encounters.”

Almost 4500 people from over 50 countries made up of Scientists, professionals, and executives from around the world visited from June 27-30, 2022, at the largest trade exhibition in the rubber industry and the rubber conference taking place at the same time. Dr. H.-Martin Issel, Chairman of the host German Rubber Society (DKG) and Managing Director of Unimatec Chemicals Europe GmbH, was very satisfied with the course of events. Bareiss was proud to be amongst an elite group of over 250 companies exhibiting their products and services.

DKT Lecture Program
Bareiss Prüfgerätebau GmbH was pleased to have Thomas Rauschmann represent us as our keynote speaker to an audience of over 600 people during the lecture program. Thomas was amongst a group of nearly 150 well respected professional sharing their newest developments and knowledge in the areas of raw materials, processing, applications, tires, testing, sustainability, simulation, future mobility, and scientific breakthroughs. Having worked in the Rubber industry for more than 30 years, Mr. Rauschmann is recognized as a leading expert in Rubber Technology.

He was welcomed to the stage on June 29th to share about our RPA ultra, the world’s first rotational closed cavity rheometer with unlimited oscillation strain. Thomas focused on material characterization and processing as it relates to this enhanced RPA technology.

Bareiss was very excited and filled with pride in sharing for the first time at the DKT, IRC Conference our Rubber Process Analyzer, the RPA ultra ! Enlightening visitors to our booth about the world’s first rotational closed cavity rheometer with unlimited oscillation strain, was an exciting experience for our Team of professional and we look forward to placing this advanced rheometer with multiple companies around the world soon.

The RPA ultra was not the only attraction to our Exhibit ! Representatives from companies around the world stopped by to see our new lineup of advanced material testing devices, from a breakthrough Hybrid IRHD M hardness test system with machine vision for O-rings’ OD, ID, and CD measurements to our BareissOne software with AOI + IRHD hardness. Not to be overlooked, our Bareiss HPE III digital durometer is a one-of-a-kind hardness tester available in either Shore A or D scale and offers in real time an environmental and sample temperature as well as relative humidity. Our Sales Team took some time away from headquarters to visit the show with co-owner Katrin Shen ( on the left ) .
