The Control International Trade Fair in Stuttgart, Germany 2022

We were very excited to return for one of our industries largest international trade shows for Quality Assurance! Team Bareiss was thrilled to share some exciting new changes to our lineup of test instruments.

The 34th Control Show opened on the 3rd – 6th of May 2022 with tremendous success after the two-year interruption due to the pandemic. With more than 600 exhibitors showcasing their experienced hands-on QA innovations , it was no wonder that the nearly 20,0000 attendees were fully engaged throughout the exhibition. With forward-looking developments that included artificial intelligence (AI) technologies , vision technology, image processing and sensor technology, as well as measuring and testing technology , Bareiss would have to rate this as one of their best shows ever!

With exhibitors presenting innovative solutions and efficient, cutting-edge QA technologies spread out over nearly 250,000 square feet of floor space in six exhibition halls , it was not surprising how energized we all felt. 31% of the exhibitors at the 2022 industry highlight came from outside of Germany – 6% came from Switzerland, 4% from Italy, 3% from the USA and more than 2% from the UK. Control project manager Fabian Krüger expressly thanked each exhibitor, along with their trade fair teams, for relaunching Control. Bettina Schall, managing director of trade fair promoters P. E. Schall GmbH & Co. KG, also expressed her appreciation and satisfaction:

“This event was awaited in advance with great anticipation, excitement, and high spirits, because we all missed the personal exchange, technical discussion on an equal footing and the opportunity of experiencing QA solutions with all our senses. Fortunately, this is now possible again!

Fast, Precise, and Inline

Control is setting the pace where quality assurance is concerned and provides expert visitors with everything they need to excel in international competition with outstanding QA. In all the exhibition halls, it was evident across the board that there’s enormous demand for face-to-face exchanges concerning new developments. Over the last three years since the last Control, quality inspection and quality assurance have taken on new importance due to increasing automation and digitalization, contactless workflows and remote services, small lot sizes, zero-defects manufacturing and data analytics. For this reason, new developments covering all aspects of measuring and test technology, materials testing, analysis equipment, vision technology, image processing and sensor technology, as well as weighing and counting technology, were very much eagerly awaited.

Above all, the use of artificial intelligence (AI) processes met with great interest as well. The fact that AI has long since arrived in production and significantly simplifies QA processes was experienced by the visitors at numerous exhibits.

Bareiss was thrilled to share a new lineup of advanced material testing devices, from a breakthrough Hybrid IRHD M hardness test system with machine vision for O-rings’ OD, ID, and CD measurements to our BareissOne software with AOI + IRHD hardness. Not to be overlooked, our Bareiss HPE III digital durometer is a one-of-a-kind hardness tester available in either Shore A or D scale and offers in real time an environmental and sample temperature as well as relative humidity.

Bareiss is looking forward to establishing relationships with its new customers and continuing to build on the existing customer relations for many years to come. The next Control International Trade Fair for quality assurance will take place from the 9th through the 12th of May 2023. Team Bareiss invites you to join us next year in Stuttgart Germany!
