Introducing Bareiss North America

The official opening of the Bareiss North America office took place recently in the greater Toronto area of, Ontario, Canada. The ceremony was overseen by Mrs. Katrin Shen, one of the Bareiss owners.

Joining her were Mr. Umair Waheed who is the Chief Operating Officer for this branch, Mr. Sebastian Mayer the Corporate Quality Manager and Mr. Taha Chowdry, BNA’s Senior Calibration Technician. This subsidiary is part of a Global expansion plan set into place by the Parent company, Bareiss Prüfgerätebau GmbH in Oberdischingen, Germany. The focus of our North American Team will be to provide exceptional sales support in real time to our customers in Canada, USA, and Mexico.

To better provide our clients with after sales support, Bareiss North America will be opening an ISO/17025 accredited calibration laboratory later this year. Our goal is to give exemplary customer service and to find the best solution to your needs. With daily flights from around the World into Toronto, we welcome you anytime to visit our operation in Canada!

What should ISO/17025 mean to you

To establish the trust in certificates and calibrations of the highest standards, we prove the quality of our work through accreditation. The national accreditation body DAkkS verifies the laboratory’s ability and confirms its competence in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025, for calibrations undertaken within the scope of accreditation. A strong industry advantage for Bareiss is that we manufacture up to 95% of the product components in-house.

Our professional experience in unique modular design of products can effectively save manpower, time, and money, if and when any components need to be replaced or repaired. Our research and development team can assist our customers in building an instrument based on their customized needs and budget. Being one of the pioneers in the elastomer industry, BAREISS has become the first official DKD calibration laboratory in Germany and the first instrument manufacturer that can issue DKD certificates.
