Return Policy:
At Bareiss North America, we are committed to delivering high-quality material testing equipment and premium after-sales support, including tablet hardness testers, softgel capsule hardness testers, Shore and IRHD durometers, and related instruments.
Due to the regulatory requirements of the industries we serve and the need to maintain product integrity and calibration accuracy, the following return policy applies to all products sold within North America:
1. Warranty Returns Only
Returns are accepted only for products within the applicable warranty period and confirmed to have a manufacturing defect.
- The warranty period begins on the date of shipment.
- A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number must be obtained prior to any return.
- Returns without a valid RMA will not be accepted.
2. Resolution: Replacement or Credit
For approved warranty returns:
- Bareiss North America will provide a replacement unit after receipt and inspection of the returned product.
- If the customer declines a replacement, a credit note will be issued for use toward future purchases.
- Cash refunds are not offered under any circumstances.
3. Non-Warranty Items – Final Sale
All non-warranty items are non-returnable and non-refundable, including but not limited to:
- Products outside the warranty period
- Products that have been misused, altered, improperly handled, or damaged after delivery
- Products returned without prior RMA authorization
4. RMA & Return Procedure
- All returns require prior authorization via email at info@bareiss-testing.com
- Unauthorized returns will be refused and returned at the sender’s expense
5. Inspection & Evaluation
- All returned products will undergo technical inspection
- If no warranty-covered defect is found, the customer will be responsible for:
- Inspection fees
- Return shipping costs
6. Shipping Responsibility
- Customers are responsible for all shipping costs related to returns, unless otherwise agreed in writing by Bareiss North America
